This album was due for release 2020, but in November 2019 I suffered the loss of my youngest son Malachi Kweku Tafari, he was just 16 years old.
We layed him to rest in January 2020, just before the world went more crazy!
The lockdown brought about contemplation and introspection, out of which sprung the Malachi Studio, a studio built in Malachi's bedroom where I finished the album and developed my creative and production technics.
This album is a tribute to Malachi and Empress Abiola, Malachi's mother, who sadly passed away June 2021. It has been a tough couple of years, not just for me, but everyone I run into is going thru or has been going thru some kind of tribulation.
I found comfort and healing being locked down in Malachi's Studio. I don't know what I would have done without music. Jah nah sleep he sends his angels to guide us through
to light.
